Qualitative Management in not a new concept it’s theoretically been present as a concept for a long time but not traditionally adapted . The Traditional Approach to management focuses Entirely on Data Driven Results, Only Believing what is calculatable and quantifiable by Numbers and Figures.
BUT
The real need in Today’s Effective Management is to take into Consideration the Aspects of an Organization such as Individual skillset and the Capabilities of the Employees in the organization and what are the potentials of your team members and as a whole
These values cannot be quantified in terms of numbers and as of Today even months/years of Experience have Comparatively low bearing on the effectiveness of the team as the skills being acquired by the emerging professionals overshadow the experience of the previous generation because of the extreme advancements today
Not to be confused with the fact that on-the-job experience is still highly valuable in certain fields of management as a lot of fundamentals remain the same. However, the value proposition should be taken into major consideration for modern skills and independent aptitude of the People while making Management decisions and creating organizational plans.
Thus , Qualitative Management is essential tool for understanding these non-quantifiable parameters and making the smart and modern approach than just relying on numbers and figures and hoping for the best outcome
